Isaiah 40:7-9 says"The grass withers, the flower fades when the breath of the LORD blows on it;surely the people are grass. The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever."ESVEveryday we're reminded we live in a fallen world. Flowers fade. BUT God's word will stand forever.
Think about the certainty of God's word.
Think about the power of God's word.
Think about the life God's word brings to living.
If the bible tells us God's word will stand forever, then why do we walk away from spending time in it? Busyness, laziness, apathy, and plain rebellion to turn our eyes away from God's word are just a few reasons we turn away. Today, don't leave your bible on the shelf. Open it. Come looking to hear a word from God through scripture. It is HIS very word. Pray and ask God to open your eyes to see things you have never seen before in the bible today.

This painting took me forever! Sometimes an artist has to put a project aside becuase you get tired of looking at it. The break proved to be productive for I was able to finish and really loved the finished product.
