Free Art Friday

 So, I guess I should have planned my Free Art Friday better this past Friday! Sorry for the inconvenience to all who entered.

My helper decided to visit the grandparents Thursday night and spend the night so he wasn't here on Friday morning and didn't return until late Friday night and then he was tired. Boy, this helper job can get a little complicated. On top of that, we had a Sunday School Fourth of July social at our home last night. Great fun, but....lots going on. We are all rested up now and were able to draw our winner this afternoon. YAY!!! Thanks to my son for his drawing for this month's winner!  (Note: My Ipad is not taking the correct size picture so when I switch them over to the blog they won't enlarge. If you can't see the names here, I have listed the names of those who entered.

Free Art Friday This Friday!

This Friday I celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the Joy Treasure Blog! It has been so much fun!! I pray Joy Treasure encourages you and  if so, that you would continue to pass it along to other women you know or ladies in your Sunday School class or Bible study group.



Today's mixed media painting (8x10) of paper and paint is for a girls room or bathroom.
If I had a daughter, these are the words what I would always want her to remember as a believer.

Sorry ladies! I got sick last week and felt horrible on Friday and throughout the weekend.

Here is the artwork I am giving away for Fall this Friday!
It is 5X7 in size and is a mixed media painting I made. I had so much fun experimenting making a scarecrow! As usual, each painting on Joy Treasure emphasizes Scripture.
The artwork can be placed on the wall or on a small easel on a coffee table.

I have been working on some Fall giveaways. YAY! I have had so much fun! So that means Free Art Friday this Friday!

Here's how to enter Free Art Friday.

Second, Open the comment box under this post. Leave your entire name. Your name will be taken and placed in a bowl and

Third, Free Art Friday begins Monday October 31st at 8am and will run until Thursday evening November 4th at 10pm. I will have my son draw names from a bowl this Friday morning and will post the name by 9:30am.

The giveaway is a mixed media painting on a 6X6 canvas. It can be placed on a small easel and placed in a guest bathroom, on the kitchen counter, on a side table in your living room. It's fun and funky but a true reminder of who we are to give thanks to- God!  Can't wait to give this one away!
